Virginia Manners is a consulting company which specialise in International Social Etiquette, Business Etiquette, Youth Etiquette and International Protocol training realms. We have obtained the official license for operating as professional consultant in International Social Etiquette and International Youth Etiquette by the International Etiquette and Protocol Academy of London and in Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol by the Protocol School of Washington.

We train individuals and groups international social etiquette, business etiquette and international protocol, thereby offering the most international etiquette and protocol standards available.

In this hands-on interactive workshop you will gain the understanding of how to master the new codes of contemporary international behavior to position yourself as credible, knowledgeable, cultured and authoritative; thereby making a positive and lasting impression every time, everywhere.

Virginia Zhang

Virginia Zhang is the founder of Virginia Manners. She is professional consultant of international social & business etiquette and international protocol. She graduated from The International School of Protocol & Diplomacy - Universidad Camilo Jose Cela and received her Master of Arts in Protocol & Soft Diplomacy.

She is a graduate of The Protocol School of Washington’s Etiquette and protocol training, and is licensed through PSOW as an intercultural protocol and etiquette trainer. She is also a graduate of The International Etiquette and Protocol Academy of London, and is licensed through IEPA of London as an international social and youth etiquette trainer.

Virginia has presented seminars and briefings to corporate and organizations, such as Briggs& Stratton, British Chamber, SCABAL, UOB, Bank of China, Baccarat, THG, and Nordic companies such as BoConcept, Flokk, Hempel and German companies ROHM, as well as well-known Chinese private companies JD.com and Mindray Medical, etc.. She has also trained famous business schools such as Fudan university, CEIBS, and training to Mrs. Earth China, Miss Earth China and Miss Cosmopolitan China. In addition, she has also presented seminars to executives and entrepreneur and provided business and social etiquette consulting services.

Virginia is an MBA graduate, while attending Fudan University - BI Norwegian Business School. Prior to becoming a protocol and etiquette consultant, Virginia had 12 years of experience in the airline industry, she was working for Air China first and later for Scandinavian Airlines Systems (SAS).

Penny has been an event planner in London since her early twenties and ran a successful corporate entertainment business from her marital home. She has three grown-up daughters whose father, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, is a cousin of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and a great-great-grandson of HM Queen Victoria. As a hands-on Patron of 3 charities, she enjoys arranging all types of fundraising events as well as helping overseas visitors gain access to and enjoy unique experiences while in the UK. Her real passion is helping others to gain the social skills and confidence required for social and business situations, with guidance on British etiquette, protocol and networking.

Penny was educated at the Royal School, Bath and went to the Sorbonne in Paris.She grew up in an Elisabethan manor house where her family entertained on a grand scale. For many years her marital home was open to the public for private and corporate events when she acted as hostess and helped run the business. More recently she has been applying her unique insight into the British Aristocracy by teaching groups of overseas visitors social and business etiquette, manners and protocol.

She arranges commissions for the renowned portrait artist,Ralph Heimans and represents the wildlife photographer David Yarrow as well as Elizabeth Emanuel, famous for designing the wedding dress of Diana, Princess of Wales. She is an Ambassador for The Lanesborough Hotel and Spa on Hyde Park Corner as well as the Iconic Luxury Hotel Group, which includes, Cliveden House, Chewton Glen, 11 Cadogan Gardens and The Lygon Arms.
